Floral pottery

Basic information

The instructor will guide you through the process of hand-built ceramics, and you'll have the chance to try different techniques, including:  

- Pinching  
- Slab building using templates  
- Shaping slabs with molds  

You'll also get to choose what kind of tableware you want to create, such as:  

- Handleless cups  
- Mugs with handles  
- Plates in various sizes  
- Bowls and serving dishes  
- Serving boards and more  

How the workshop works:  
In the first session, you’ll shape your tableware and add basic decorations to the clay. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of hand-built ceramics. Then, we’ll let the pieces dry completely before firing them for the first time – the bisque firing.  

By the second session, your pieces will be ready for further decoration. You can paint them with a brush, use pigments, or dip them in glaze. After that, they will go through the final high-temperature firing.  

Once your pieces have been fired for the second time, the instructor will notify you when they are ready for pickup.
